Pinched between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean is the Haute Vallée de L’Aude. Here there are ideal growing conditions that give this wine concentrated fruit yet refreshing acidity. Made from mostly hand-picked grapes, 20% has been vinified in old oak, imparting texture and body.  The balance is vinified in stainless steel.  Cracking French Chardonnay that punches well above its weight.  The Haute Vallee de l'Aude is one of the few regions left in France that remains underappreciated, lesser known and consequently offers great value wines.
