From 40 year old vines this is a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.

Owned by brothers Jean-Claude and Philippe Lambert (and now managed by brother and sister Matthieu & Perrine) the domaine, based in Sablet, was created in 1935 by their grandfather and now covers 87 hectares, 40 ha of which are in ‘Plan de Dieu’. In recent years they have restructured the vineyard, planting more syrah (for colour and aroma) and mourvedre (for structure), so that today they are planted with 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and Cinsault, Carignan, Merlot and Marselan with an average age of 30 years, but with some 60 year old vines. An eco friendly culture is employed in the vineyard and organic fertilizer used. Grapes are all destemmed.
