An innovative blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Gamay from the Ardeche which combines the freshness and cherry fruit of ripe Gamay with the depth and spice of Syrah.  It has a nose of ripe bramble fruit and a juicy palate with soft tannins making it very easy to like.  The Gamay is actually grown in the Saint Joseph appellation in the Ardeche while the Syrah comes from the Drome further to the east.  An elegant and fresh red to be enjoyed with cold meats, cheeses and a wide variety of vegetarian dishes.
