An approachable 100% Cabernet Sauvignon which undergoes a natural fermentation in stainless steel with a small proportion (about 20%) given some time in cask just to round it out. There’s plenty of that classic blackcurrant fruit here and just enough ripe tannin to balance.
I sense that some people can be a little hesitant about Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins can be tough and can sometimes make the enjoyment of the ripe blackcurrant fruit (which is the main attraction of Cab. Sauv.) something of a challenge. Don't be concerned here though. Yes, there are tannins, but they are ripe and do not dominate. There's plenty of fruit as well which takes the leading role, and a correct level of alcohol to keep everything in balance. So tuck in for this is a great value, fruity and structured red.
