Vina Esmeralda has been around for ages and is just as good as ever.  My wife and I chose it to serve at our wedding in 1994 because of its wonderfully open fruit and wonderful fragrance, and subsequent vintages were equally delicious.  It then fell off my radar as Miguel Torres wines started showing up in supermarkets so we stopped.

However, this vintage is so good that we couldn't resist buying a few cases for old times' sake.  It's a fascinating blend of 85% Moscato and 15% Gewurztraminer.  Wonderfully fresh and fragrant with a clean crisp finish.
