100% Verdicchio but deliberately made in a lighter and fresher style.  The grapes are grown in a cool climate at altitude and vinified in stainless steel to enhance the fresh fruit characteristics.  This is wonderfully fresh with peach/apricot hints on the nose which moves to a palate of ripe citrus with a good streak of minerality.  There's a hint of grapefruit in there too and its finish is clean and fresh.  I'm thinking fish, chicken, salads and light starters or you could just enjoy this on its own.
