In many places this was a brutally hot summer and the Douro was no exception.  This resulted in smaller berries and ports of tremendous concentration and depth.  Well structured and balanced, this has complex aromas, rich and deep fruit flavours. The 2003 Vesuvio vintage port is now at its peak and will remain there to 2035 and beyond.
