The Blair Athol distillery sits at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the town of Pitlochry.  The water comes from the Allt Dour burn and produces a mellow, smooth and characterful whisky that is a major component of the Bell's blend.

Here is an independent bottling from Mossburn distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 making it a 13 year old Highland Single Malt.  It has been aged in used Bourbon Hogsheads and exhibits notes of honey, toasted oats and spice with a hint of hazelnut.
