White Wines

2023 Grillo "Olli", Feudo Maccari, Sicily 12.5% Grillo makes whites that are gently floral with a crisp, citrus palate.  Wonderfully fresh and original.

2022 Colle dei Tigli, Cantine Lenotti, Veneto 12.5% A 50/50 blend of Cortese (the grape of Soave) and Garganega (the grape of Gavi) and much better than many incarnations of each.  Colle dei Tigli is much greater than the sum of its parts.

2023 Pinot Grigio Terrazze della Luna, CaVit, Trentino 12.5% Fabulous Pinot Grigio (yes, there is such a thing) with real flavour.  Aromatic and fresh.

Red Wines

2023 Conviviale Primitivo, Salento, Puglia 14.0% Fresh bramble fruit with no oak.  Cracking stuff.

2022 Rosso Passo, Cantine Lenotti, Veneto 12.5% A 50/50 blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. Authentic Italian savoury character from the Sangiovese and ripe plumminess from the Merlot.  I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like this wine.

2020 Sassaiolo Rosso Piceno, Monte Schiavo, Marche 13.5% A 50/50 blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano with black cherry/damson fruit and a hint of spice.
