Classic Dolcetto with notes of sour cherry and plum with a gentle note of sweet spice.  There’s no oak here so the fruit shines through with flavours of redcurrant and damson.  This would work well with meaty pasta dishes, grilled meats or flavoursome cheeses.  Dolcetto means "little sweet one" but the wines it produces are not sweet but this refers to the openly fruity character of Dolcetto which produces relatively low acidity compared to other northern Italian reds.  The tannins are gentle and the fruit very much to the fore.
