80% Roussanne and 20% Grenache Blanc this is wonderfully full and fleshy with ripe honeysuckle and peach aromas and a gentle whiff of fennel.  Only 3% of the Corbieres appellation is planted with white grape varieties so only a small proportion of producers actually make white wine.  This is fully organic and the perfect white for anyone looking for something a little different and away from the usual grape varieties.  30% of it sees a bit of oak but it's just enough to enhance the round and ripe fruit and create a fuller mouthfeel.  The Cers (strong wind that blows from the northwest) brings a cooling effect to the vineyards here blowing down from the garrigue and bringing characteristic hints of juniper and rosemary to the vineyards.  Try this with goats' cheese or fish with hollandaise sauce.
