A blend of 40% Tinta Barroca, 30% Tinta Roriz and 30% Touriga Franca (all classic grapes used in the production of port which also comes from the Douro Valley of course) this is a warming glass of red with hints of blackberry and gentle vanilla on the nose leading to a comforting palate of dark fruit flavours and gentle spice. This would be perfect with lamb and even better with a platter of firm, mature cheeses.
