There was a time when Malvasia was regarded as very much a "workhorse" grape, making wines that were decent enough buy not much to write home about. Not so these days though where, in the right hands, it is capable of shining. This comes from Toro which is situated to the west of Rueda and just east of Zamora.
This is has a lemony hint on the nose with hints of white flowers. It is very clean, crisp and dry and green apple freshness.
