Monte Schiavo is owned by the Pieralisi family and this wine, launched in 2016, represents the finest expression of Verdicchio from their prized Colle del Sole vineyard, picked at full ripeness and naturally vinified.  It is quite simply one of the best expressions of Verdicchio that we have encountered.  It has an open and expressive nose with aromas of apricot, orchard fruit, white flower and citrus. The palate has minerality and texture with ripe tropical notes of pineapple and stone fruit, underpinned by racy acidity and a touch of salinity.
