This is what used to be called Vetiver but Bodegas Ontanon have given it a makeover.  It's 100% Viura and sees 4 months in American oak to add a depth and complexity that white Rioja often lacks.  It is aged fr a further 6 months in bottle prior to release.  What makes this so clever is that you hardly notice the oak as it's just there to play a supporting role to the ripe Viura fruit that brings gently toasty and tropical flavours with just a hint of vanilla.  This is a white with a real depth of flavour that will win a lot of friends.
