The 5th generation are now in charge at this family-run Domaine. This Chardonnay is grown on siliceous limestone in a 1.25 hectare site in the Macon-Solutre AOC. Vinification takes place in vats for 6 months.
This is a full-flavoured dry white wine with ripe citrus notes and a hit of minerality. There is no noticeable oak on the palate but the vinification in vat lifts the ripe Chardonnay fruit and produces a more "open" style of wine.
