Very dark, rich and full with vibrant youthful fruit redolent of blackberries and blueberries. This is a substantial mouthful and would suit a wide variety of fully-flavoured dishes but would be particularly good with red meats and game.

The Tarima vineyards are situated between the mountain ranges of Sierra de Salinas, Sierra de L'Altet and Sierra de la Sima. The vineyards grow at an elevation ranging between 600-750 m (1,928-2,460 ft.) above sea level. The soil is arid and shallow; it is very poor in organic material and full of rocks derived from chalk. Limestone is the main characteristic of the soil and constitutes the mother rock. The vines love it!
