95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano. As a Reserva Rioja this spends 12 months in oak (60% American, 40% French) followed by 24 months in bottle before release. It is only produced in exceptional vintages where the quality of the fruit harvested is judged to be sufficient to endure the time in oak.
This has plenty of dark fruit flavours and some spice from the oak. There's a balancing nip of tannin and plenty of depth ending with a long finish. Super stuff!
