2021 Chateau l'Ermite d' Auzan Blanc, Costieres de Nimes 13.0%

Made from a uniquely southern blend of Roussanne (60%) Viognier and Grenache Blanc without any use of oak. This also bears the estate’s stamp of refinement and is the perfect antidote to Sauvignon fatigue. It is dry, discreetly full and lightly aromatic with a bouquet showing gentle notes of white blossom and a palate which is both crisp and rounded. Read more on our Blog

Château l'Ermitage was founded in the XIth Century by the hermits of Ste Cécile d'Estagel Abbay. It is situated on the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostella. The estate's total surface covers 80 hectares of sunny south facing vineyards, which benefit from the airy Mediterranean climate. The domain's owners for the past 30 years have been Michel and Jérôme Castillon. The work they accomplish allows the grape to breathe out and the use of oak barrels for ageing is restricted as much as possible
