Pure Sangiovese. This is a super example and the equal of many a Brunello though at a more affordable level (Verbena's Brunello is £30+). It has hints of violets and chocolate on the nose with a rich, gamey, savoury flavour with tremendous purity of fruit and brilliant balance and depth. Read more on our blog

Luca and Elena Nannetti now run this estate which was established by Luca's mother and aunt until 1999 when Luca took over. They have 10 hectares of vines on two sites but only produce around 50,000 bottles each year. Their attention to details is fantastic and the wines truly impressive.
