Chateau de Musset is a large 27 hectare property in Lalande de Pomerol, owned by the Foucard family since 1963. The soil is clay on gravel and sandy gravel and Cuvée Compostelle is 76% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% others, with and avarage of 27 years.

This is gently plummy, mellow, round and elegant. This is matured 50% in oak and 50% in stainless steel so the oak element is nicely controlled.
