We've been looking for a good red Loire Cab Franc for a while now but Chinon, Bourgueil et al seem rather optimistically priced these days. However, this single estate example from Touraine hits the spot with its juicy, leafy fruit and packs plenty of flavour into its modest 12% alcohol level remaining fresh. Serve cool at 12-14 degrees centigrade.
