This spends 2 years in cask and another in bottle before Luca and Elena Nannetti will let you anywhere near it! It is wonderfully complex and full of rich gamey flavours with ripe black fruit concentration and beautifully approachable tanins. As ever, the oak is beautifully judged. Dark in colour and magnificent in flavour this will reward decanting for an hour or so before consumption to allow all of these flavours to fully develop. A super wine and one of the best examples of Brunello we've tasted. When first tasted in cask back in 2011 it promised much and it has not disappointed! Read more on our blog
Luca and Elena Nannetti now run this estate which was established by Luca's mother and aunt until 1999 when Luca took over. They have 10 hectares of vines on two sites but only produce around 50,000 bottles each year. Their attention to details is fantastic and the wines truly impressive.
