A brilliant blend of Gamay and Syrah from this superb producer. Full of ripe bramble fruit both on the nose and in the mouth. Fascinating and delicious.
2019 Crozes Hermitage Les Entrecoeurs, Domaine Mucyn £25.00
We've been looking for a Crozes Hermitage for a while and have finally settled on this. Pure Syrah and full of class.
Cotes de Gascogne
Here are a couple of new whites from Gascony that are perfect for summer.
2022 Domaine de Haut Marin No.6 Fossiles, Cotes de Gasgocne £10.25
A blend of Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc and Gros Manseng. Fruity but dry.
2022 Domaine de Haut Marin No.7 Venus, Cotes de Gascogne £10.75
100% Gros Manseng and medium (or perhaps a shade sweeter) this is what Gascony does brilliantly! Notes of fresh pineapple and beautifully fresh. You really must try this!
Muscadet
Muscadet prices have gone up so we've taken some time to taste a few samples having sold out a few weeks ago. We have come to the conclusion that the 2021 Muscadet de Sevre et Maine Sur Lie, Chateau de la Bigotiere is still the best one out there even at it's new price. It is now back in stock.
