February Bin Ends
As anticipated, Monday's stocktake revealed a few more oddments that we would like to move through. These are in the Online Deals section of the website which you can browse by clicking here.
Some of these lines are coming to a natural end, others are the final few bottles of an outgoing vintage which we are moving out to make room for the follow-on. Online orders only for these though please.
Suffolk Wine Courses
Our chum Helen Duddridge is getting her wine courses up and running again and has a couple lined up at The Randolph in Raydon (near Southwold). Helen is a member of the Association of Wine Educators and a recommended tutor for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). She has a tremendous enthusiasm for wine and her courses are great fun. More Website Features
We are now starting to roll out additional features on our website. Here's a list of what's now active in case you find any of these features useful:
Customer Accounts - if you register as a customer on our site you will be able to view your previous orders and make use of the "Favourites" facility (see below) as well as being able to take advantage of other functionality not yet rolled out… You can register here if you've not already done so.
Favourites - as I type there are 362 products on our website, and that's fewer than usual because it's February. We appreciate that this is a lot to trawl through when making your choices, although the "search" and "filter" facilities will help you narrow a selection down. There is now the facility for you to create a "favourites" list - your own focused selection. Just click the little heart symbol labelled "add to favourites" next to the lines you wish to include.
Gift Vouchers - We have two types of gift voucher…
Physical Vouchers - these are for use in the shop. You can now order these online as well as buy them in our shop.
Virtual Vouchers - with these you select the amount for the voucher, enter the email address of the recipient along with any message and the website sends the recipient a unique coupon code for them to redeem on our website when making a purchase. They do not have to be used in one order since any remaining balance may be carried over and used on a subsequent order using the same code.
We hope you are enjoying our new website, but if you have any observations or comments on it please do get in touch.
