Situated on the outskirts of the city of Logrono in Rioja Alta, Bodegas Olarra is known as the "Cathedral of La Rioja". This Gran Reserva is made only in the very best vintages from Tempranillo, Granacha, Mazuelo and Graciano. The colour is full, deep and dark with dark fruit mellow oak on the nose. In the mouth it is is rich and round thanks to its time ageing in both cask and bottle, it is smooth and elegant and long in the mouth with notes of ripe berry fruit and mellow vanilla with just a hint of smoke and spice. Very limited quantities.
