Initially some rich oaky notes, plums and dried fruit, later dominated by impressions of vanilla and reminiscent of brioche. Quite velvety on the palate at the start followed later by the natural power of the spirit with its flavours of violets, prune, vanilla. A gentle but long finish evokes liquorice, cinnamon and dried fruit.
